Brand new OEM Subaru 2.5 Sti Short Block for the 2004-2006 Subaru WRX Sti. This 2.5L shortblock that comes as standard issue in the USDM STi will easily swap into nearly any Subaru with a turbocharged 4 cylinder motor. It is an excellent choice for any WRX owner looking for an increase in displacement and torque. In its stock form, this block is capable of reliably supporting 465 crank HP and can be easily built to withstand more power. When coupled with the stock WRX heads, more torque and power will be realized but the the true potential of this short block will be unleashed with upgraded cams and valvetrain.

Contains the following: block, crank, main bearings, rods, rod bearings, pistons, rings.

The SubieTech HQ grounding was designed to

* Stabilize the grounding system
* Deliver better acceleration
* Provide better ground electrical
current passages from battery negative to body frame, chassis and engine components to help stabilize RPMs
* Lesser engine noise with quicker engine start
It upgrades a total of 5 grounds with the use of 4ga and 8ga cable. Replacing all OEM leads, each with sizes matched copper ring terminals that are hydraulically crimped on and heat shrunk to insure a proper long lasting connection you can count on.

The battery cable is made right here in the USA and designed for Heavy Duty battery cable use where flexibility at all operating temperatures and resistance to cuts, tears and abrasion is required.
